GAY A.A. group meets each Sunday from 5:00-6:00 p.m

Star City Transgender Alliance Support Group. Meets the 4th Saturday of the month from 4-7:00 p.m. 

Nonbinary Alliance of the Blue Ridge Support Group. Meets the 3rd Saturday of each month from 7-9:00 p.m.

New! Roanoke Rainbow Families and Friends Support Group. Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Roanoke, 2015 Grandin Rd, Roanoke,VA  24015 from 7-8:30 p.m.

New! Youth S.A.G.A. of Roanoke (youth 12-18 yrs old) Counselor led youth support group! Locations TBA


 

  • RDC at Blue Horizon Festival

    Sign up to help the RDC at this year's Blue Horizon Festival. Help answer questions about the RDC, share brochures, fliers, etc. First and last shifts are to help us set up and tear down the booth. Have a lot's of fun while helping spread the word about the Roanoke Diversity Center.

    About the festival: Family-Friendly Fun in Downtown Roanoke - Elmwood Park!

    We offer a free event from 12noon till 7pm, where you can make friends with donkeys, eat amazing food truck vittles, watch local bands and Acts, meet community groups and political candidates, and learn how you can volunteer your time to make the world a little bit shinier.

    The Donktoberfest Beer Garden will offer you a chance to drink together with friends in the park.

    Musical Stage will start at 3:30pm - Headliner - Carolina Chocolate Drops co-founder, Grammy Award Winning Artist Dom Flemons!

    And opener, local fan favorite, Winner of the 2014 Americana Vocal Group of the Year - After Jack!

    Tickets to the musical event can be purchased now at $10 and at the door for $15.
